In a surprising partnership that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden sect.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Material

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an unique katana in addition to multiple items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Titan-based costume for Yasuke
• Mikasa outfit for Naoe

Newest Free Story Addition

This patch also introduces the game's third no-cost story episode, titled "The Enigma."
